Welcome to Pack 641 - We're Second to None!!

Cub Scout Pack 641 is based in North Arlington, Virginia.  Most of our Scouts attend either Jamestown or Discovery Elementary Schools, as well as a few other nearby schools.

We are a year-round Pack that enjoys traditional Scout outings and community service projects that help our boys and girls develop self-confidence and sound decision-making.  We believe in FUN with a PURPOSE and we encourage the participation of the entire family.  The links to the left offer more detail about our Pack and how to contact our Cubmaster.

Please reach out with any questions you might have about our Pack or for more information on how to join us!

NOTE: In the interest of protecting our kids, we limit access to this site to only those who are members of the Pack.

Sign Up for Your Parent Volunteer Role

Posted on Jun 15 2019 - 7:44pm

To help improve the Pack 641 Cub Scout experience and to share the workload of delivering this program thoughout the year we're asking every family to take on one parent volunteer role for the Pack at least once a year.  Many of you already do, and we're deeply appreciative of your help.  By my current count there are about 60 significant roles we need filled every year, and about 70 families active in the Pack.  So if everyone does one thing, we'll be well covered.

Pack Rocket Launch Sign-up

On July 13, a local rocketry club will be hosting our pack for a rocket launch in Great Plains Virginia (about 40 mins from Arlington).  This is a great activity that gives scouts the opportunity to build and launch their own model rocket close to 1000 feet in the air.

Our June 12 Pack meeting is advancement night, which means that all of our Scouts are graduating to the next level of Cub Scouting! Along with bigger adventures and new requirements, a new level brings the need to get new uniform parts.  For the Tiger and Wolf dens, it's time for new hats, scarves and those easy-to-lose neckerchief slides.  For Lions and Bears, there's a whole new uniform to buy: shirt, hat, belt, scarf and slide.  And everyone needs a new book!  Learn all about Cub Scout uniforms
